About the Role
Lead a cross-functional engineering team delivering core fintech products including payment processing, open banking integrations, and regulatory compliance systems. You'll set technical direction while growing and mentoring a team of 8-12 engineers.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical roadmap and delivery for one or more fintech product lines
- Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team
- Drive architectural decisions for scalable, secure financial systems
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Compliance stakeholders
- Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and incident response processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in a management role
- Proven experience building and shipping fintech or payments products
- Strong background in Java, microservices, and distributed systems
- Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
