Java Engineer - Crypto

About the Role

Build the backend systems powering our cryptocurrency exchange and digital asset platform. You'll develop high-performance trading engines, wallet services, and blockchain integrations using Java and modern distributed systems technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services for crypto trading, wallets, and settlements
• Integrate with multiple blockchain networks and third-party liquidity providers
• Build reliable, low-latency APIs handling high transaction volumes
• Implement security measures for digital asset custody and transfer workflows
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for production systems

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Java development experience
• Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts, smart contracts, or cryptocurrency protocols
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to security best practices
