Senior Java Developer

About the Role

Take ownership of critical backend services powering our payment processing and open banking platforms. As a senior engineer, you'll drive architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and ensure our systems meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices for payment processing and account management
• Lead technical design reviews and mentor mid-level and junior engineers
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and observability across services
• Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Champion engineering best practices including testing, CI/CD, and documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservice architectures
• Experience designing and operating high-availability distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases, caching strategies, and message queues
• Track record of mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence
